My 2015 Calender

It been like a ritual for me already to do a calendar to give to all my beloved people at the beginning of the year. Unbelievable it been five years already! For this year, as i am pretty much obsess with flowers so there are a lot of flowers in it. They are not just general flowers though. I selected the good meaning flowers; buttercup for the cheerfulness, bells of Ireland for luck, peonies for bashfulness, pink rose for perfect happiness for example, to secretly send all the luck and happiness to my receivers. I hope they all like it and may my calendar do bring them a good fortune and happiness all day everyday : )

2015 Calendar for Central Food Retails

If you been following my work for a while, you might notice that I never done the real painting before. Well, I mean I usually do the inking line and color finishing in photoshop. But for somehow, I think i’ve been done that for quite too long and might be good to try the real painting, the one that complete finishing by hand and am just so lucky that this calendar job came and the client is so kind gave me the opportunity to explore.

It been quite struggling at the very beginning stage but then i got a very kind offer from a good friend to teach me technique. So all things just kick in and this is the result. Am so thankful for the opportunity to work on this project and the kind teaching offer. These were like one of the best last gift for me in 2014 : )

Tattoo Me

This is the collaboration work I did with my friend, Mike Watt. He initiate the project name “Tattoo Me” which he draw the outline of people and send out to artists/designers to fill his drawing with tattoo. For my man, I filled him with the shorten version of my all time favourite and most influence quote in my life “twenty years from now you will be more disappointed by the things that you didn’t do than by ones you did do. So throw off the bowlines, sail away from the safe harbour, catch the trade winds in your sails. Explore. Dream. Discover. – Mark Twain
